In response to bbld's answer: Your answer to my question was hillarious. I think the reason that poor black men get the overweight women and rich black men get the thin blondes is the same reason that rich white men get the thin pretty blondes. Unfortunatly alot of women are gold diggers and a thin pretty blond is not going to even consider a poor man when she can have a rich one. Just like the rich men are not going to even consider a fat woman when they can buy a thin one with all their money. That is not a race thing, it is just a reality in today's money hungry society.

I generally don't have any problems with people dating other race. However, I've noticed that Hispanic men tend to date white women no matter how fat and not well educated she is. They think it's still a step up for them.
Just an observant, not to be meant racist.

You got to realize that this is basically a problem ...not with you and the single and dating...it's a problem with your parents. The way we live forever is to continue our bloodline and pride in our ethnic background. It doesn't matter what race you and your parents are, they are going to be gravely troubled by mixing, whether it's for the better or not. I've know black parents that were just as troubled by a White daughter-in-law, then as the girls white parents! Parents want to live on through their children, that's why we re-use family names. If I have a redheaded grandson, who looks a little like me it's comforting to know the lineage will continue. When you mix...it changes it all and it's a ending, but it's a new beginning, but the older generation does not like anything new or changed. they will be gravely disappointed...I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is. but most eventually except it, if it happens! But they will grieve!

No, why the hell do I care if two different races date? I don't. It's none of my business, and last time I checked the year was 2007, not 1905. People who have a problem with interracial dating are probably backwoods losers who are members of the Klan.

No, I don't have a problem with people of different races dating. No, interracial relationships don't offend me. I believe we are all of some mixed blood anyway, and to me, that's no different. I, however, don't choose to date someone outside of my race, but that's me and my preference.

Nah. I'm white and married to a white guy, but I actually dated men of others races when I was single. It's no biggie.

No. I think people can date whoever they want no matter there race, age, appearance or anything else. Its stupid when people make a big deal out of it. I wouldn't mind dating some one no matter there race and I wish more people felt the same.
