Markets, Money, and rivalries. Dallas/Houston, Dallas/Santone rivalries are interesting and intriuging. Denver and Boulder rivalries are boring. Just a mater of how many big businesses are willing to put up the big bucks and how much money will nba make.

it incredibly is simply by fact California and Texas are the two greatest states and mixed make up approximately 20% of the U. S. inhabitants. California on my own has 37 million human beings in it. There are some states that don't even have one million mil. NoCal and SoCal are genuinely 2 distinctive states with populations of 15 and 22 million respectively. i do no longer prefer to be certain California communities pass away with the attainable exception of the Lakers. I do think of it incredibly is a actual possibility nevertheless. i does no longer be shocked to be certain the Clips or Kings pass to the two Las Vegas or Seattle sometime.

What's your argument for the East Coast?

A lot of teams on the east coast are in close proximity to each other and no one seems to care.

Or is it that you are sick of the fact that the teams from Texas and California make the playoffs on a regular basis.

There are 30 teams in the NBA, where do want them to expand, Idaho or Iowa (don't think you would sell many tickets)

Dude...hello. Texas and California have more big cities and are two of the top three highest populated states in the country. Simma down now! Of course they're going to have more teams than say...Montana or Wyoming.

In case you haven't noticed, Texas and California are the biggest states in the lower 48. Why shouldn't they have more teams?

Yeah right, Texans like their football, not basketball. I don't get it either, and I live there. Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio are all in the eastern half of the state too.
