I have a laptop with a ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 . How do i know what games it will run. Im confused will all specifications jargon. The laptop: Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 2GHz Processor
Mobile Intel 945PM Express Chipset ATI Mobility Radeon x2300 128MB VRAM up to 512MB Shared 2GB DDR2 667MHz Memory 120GB 5400rpm Hard Drive

your vid card is integrated and swaps with system memory. You should be able to play most games on the market, but not with all the 3d and with limited frame rate. Vid games are ALWAYS a trade off between screen resolution/3d/ and frame rate.

As with ALL gaming, dont use a p2p (it uses the mem and processor to serve as well as to recieve). Turn off everything unnecessary in startup and use lite versions of antivirus and spyware. DONT multitask esp with shared video. Frag one for me!

You also need to look at the operating system you're running. Most games are not compatible with Vista (and probably won't be re-written to be so - you'll have to wait for the Vista compatible versions (i.e. pay for them)).

In fact currently, OS compatibility is more of a problem than hardware compatibility.

it'll run any new game.. but it won't be at any high resolution because that is still pretty much an integrated chip.
