Macintosh or Apple computers, such as the MacBook, are great for schoolwork. You can use Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint. You can also edit music and video, and it comes with a built-in webcam so it makes it easy to take pictures of yourself or stay connected with family and friends with a webcam instant message. Its also extremely easy to set up a network so you can connect to the internet and print wirelessly. It's interface is also more user-friendly than a Windows-based computer such as a Dell, Gateway, and IBM. I also make ringtones for my cellphone on my iBook by using the iMovie HD application that came on it and then by using a converter application (free) that changes movie files to MP3 files and then use bluetooth to wirelessly sync the new file to my Motorola Phone. Furthermore, Macs are less likely to get a virus. As long as PC's remain dominant virus makers are going to target them and the Mac's unix core is harder to crash because if one system crashes it makes sure the whole thing doesn't go down with it since each application isn't directly tied to the operating system.

extra advertising, a more advantageous advertising team, uncomplicated layout, homogeneity. laptop is genuinely any laptop not a mac, and of direction they're going to run the gamut in high quality/cost/layout. subsequently the sole difficulty that Macs incredibly have over each laptop is they are able to run Apple proprietary application. there is likewise a picture difficulty that i'm noticing with Macs. by way of their branding and advertising Macs are pointed out as "cooler" than their laptop counterpart in particular subcultures. i'm considering the fact that a great form of you positioned down 'virus loose' as between the main experts of a mac. That although has to do with the Unix based working equipment run on the Mac extremely than the Mac itself. If laptop shoppers are so prone, they are able to additionally get an endemic loose working equipment in between the numerous Linux flavors.

Okay, PC computers are overall better as far as compatibility. More programs are compatible with PCs than with Macs.

If you're planning on doing things with graphics, video, and stuff like that you might want to look into getting a Mac. I know a graphic artist who regrets getting a PC over a Mac. :)
