I don't know, but it was the dumbest ending I have ever seen in my years of television and movie watching. I honestly thought my TV had turned itself off for a seoond.

I guess we're supposed to think they are just any, old American family enjoying onion rings (sorry, Tony, but the best onion rings in the world award now belongs to Haddad's in Marshfield, Mass) and waiting for the last member of the family to show up.

Guess we are going to see another season after all.

David Cahse pulled the biggest "gotcha" moment of all time.
Bigger than the "Who Shot J.R." episode on Dallas.

I thought the series finale tonight was terrible. I've been watching since the 1st episode and the series ended with a wimper. These last 9 episodes were lame, it was almost like some one other than David Chase took over the show.

Tony was whacked and everything went to black

ITS SO OBIUOUS!!

in the beginnig he walks in and sees himself sitting at the diner and at the first episode of the season Bobby said "i wonder what it's like to die" and Tony said "it all goes black" so when they were coming into the diner a strange guy walked in and while Meadow was having trouble parking her car he went to the bathroom and when Meadow walked in Tony looked up and it went black and all the noise and music cut out

A cliffhanger from h*ll! That was the most lame show I have ever seen in my entire 47 years of life! Even weekly cliffhangers on the soaps were better than that! WEAK

My opinion is that he was always in that coma after he got shot by uncle junior. He lived out the rest of his life in his mind or semi-conscious state and was having a bad thought process kind of like in Vanilla Sky. Nawwww, he was killed in the diner and it ruined the onion rings. I wonder if Anthony got depressed after that? Did Meadow become a lawyer to defend mistreated italians, or did she see what happened to her father and become the next Head of the "Family"?

I believe Tony died.....everything goes black= his losing consciousness. As they said, "yyou never see it coming".....very sad, if true. Maybe they will make a prequel?
