I come from a country where traffic is on the left. Now I
live in the US where it is opposite. Can you suggest ways to overcome this change while driving ?

Well the driver is always next to the lane of opposite moving traffic in this country , or the center line of the road Just remember that and you should be OK.If not you will be most courteously asked, Where the hell did you learn to drive &$$^%$^?

Having been in countries with both types, I have found that looking BOTH ways before pulling out from a stop is very helpful. Also when turning, close right and far left. Backwards, but true. It basically takes attn and practise. It will feel normal soon enough. Then the trick is to relearn left side driving when return! My biggest problem was backing up. Takes concentration to remember which lane to back into. Good luck, and be carfeful!!!
