Why would you but as long as it is done in polite manner & not after a few beers.. Everyone has the right to choose who to root for, but being a Yankee fan, I wouldn't wear a NY cap in Fenway or think a Red Sox fan would do the same in Yankee stadium. I have been to Camden Yards in Baltimore when the O's play the Yankees and I kid you not, you would think you were in NY with all those pinstripes in the stadium.

I always give Red Sox fans bad looks but not a hard time about it.
But I can't stand the people that wear the jerseys/hats of teams, but don't even watch baseball or profess they are a fan of a team but couldn't name 3 players on the team.

Being a Red Sox fan, I see guys in Yankees stuff all the time.
If I am sporting Red Sox stuff and I see them, I look their way and see if their body language suggests they are "fun".
It should never be personal, it's a game. It can be a lot of fun. You have to be sure the other person is emoting some kind of interest before you engage.

Hes not there just trying to show the fans up, hes trying to watch his favorite team play just like you.
I always go to Dodger games and i see stupid Dodger fans yelling and throwing stuff and fans of the opposing team, not just the Giants, even like pirates fans.
People grow up and watch the game.
You can tease them a little bit like "haha u guys lost", but dont lose your cool.

I tend to stay out of those scuffles. It's retarded basically. I am a NY Yankees fan and hang out with a few Boston fans and wherever we go there are meat head Yanks fans who start the ever creative chant of "Boston sucks". I am embarrassed to route for them. It goes both ways but it's getting a bit old.

Only during games at the ball park. When the Yanks or the Sox come to town we will make some fun of them...but it's all in fun and nobody takes it personally.

Being a transplanted Ohioan I wear my Indians, Browns, and Buckeye gear with pride. When I see some other misinformed and STUPID fan wearing other gear I always inform they of their error.

lmao,,,,everything (almost) i own is cubbies blue and red,,,(red durango with cubznut plates, a cubbies blue bathroom, i could go on) i get so much static,,,,likewise,,,i work in a bar and many a conversation starts when someone walks in wearing white sox or cardinal garb. makes for a fun life...eamus catuli!
