I'm a Spurs fan, but it seems to me that Larry Hughes has done nothing and at least Gibson brings some excitement to the floor.

Hey Frank~

Have you watched Larry Hughes play defense the last two games or are we watching different games?

Why do you think LeBron is defending Parker?

I am also looking strictly at offense here, Hughes has scored a grand total of 2 points in two games.

I agree...Gibson should start. 16 points in game one, and 15 in game two. But in game two he played more minutes than game one so at least he's getting the minutes over Hughes.

He seems to push Tony Parker in a way similar to the way Parker pushes the rest of the league. He could be a huge spark coming into Cleveland.

Gibson also hasn't turned the ball over this series so far something Hughes did twice for easy Spurs baskets in game two. Brown has to do something to shake things up. Hughes could benefit the team more by being a scorer off the bench.

If Daniel Gibson starts then who's gonna provide that spark off the bench? Who's gonna give you some much-needed points and stop Ginobli in the process? That's why Cleveland needs to get a shooting guard to complement Lebron. Larry Hughes is hurt and I give him credit for playing through it but he's not helping the team.

Maybe not start, cause you need his energy coming off the bench, but he definitely should be playing the majority of the minutes over Larry Hughes. They gotta put Hughes on Bruce Bowen so he doesn't have to guard Tony Parker.

I don't give a crap if Larry hughs is "injured" he cant make a wide open jumper from the free throw line. Gibson's ability to make threes could also come up big in the clutch.

I agree. Gibson was making the game intresting. Hughes is a great player, but i think his injury is hurting his team

Gibson should be the starter not only because of his entertainment, but because he runs the floor better than hughes. Hughes is experienced, but has not shown it throughout the playoffs.

problem with Gibson....... except for the occasional touched ball..... he can't defend my little sister.... they can't use him that much... that's exactly why he hasn't spent more time.... he can't defend.
