Fact: I think most people fit the sign fairly well that they were born in. However, the people who think it is crap are the ones who don't understand there are rising signs and moon signs that also go with the sun sign. So the general horoscopes we read in the newspaper are crap because those cannot possibly come close to fitting an individual. I am a cancer with a virgo moon and a gemini rising. Talk about complexity.

Fact 1: Human brain takes real control of thoughts and mind at the time of birth of a baby. It lie active only to control primary functions of life while the baby is in the womb.
Fact 2: At the time of birth, the orientation of the universe, which is constantly and changing and periodically repeating can affect and put human brain in to certain molds.
Fact 3: Though earth is smaller than a dot compared to the size of the universe, the place of birth and the time of birth makes the orientation of the universe different to people born at the same time in different places. It is like looking at the same large mountain from different angels and seeing different perspectives.
Fact 4. By systematically observing and documenting how various orientations of the universe affect people born at the time of particular orientations, a general idea can be evolved to predict how they will behave. Its like saying, since this doggy is born with longer front legs, and since its running downslope now, it may find the act difficult and may fall down.
Fact 5: Many people and astrologers have no such scientific ideas and mix up faith and relegion and fraud in to an otherwise rational subject and make the entire thing just CRAAAP

I say crap. If you notice, some of them repeat themselves for other months also. How would you know that tho? You are busy looking at your horoscope. The horoscope can be interpreted by many if the situation pertains to them. They think OH WOW. This fits me to a tee. Its a psychological thing. People take what they read and run with it. So basically, if you believe in it, then its the real deal. If you don't, like myself. Its just hogwash. Its fun to read tho, I will give it that.

I'm gonna answer your question with more than one word...lol...
actually by majority they say its crap, and i don't blame them, but there are some few loose ends in astrology that gives them a glimmer of hope, i watched history channel and they were trying to find out if astrology is effective, they failed in most cases, but what really got them curious is when they did a statistic of people and their ruling planet....
Mars is a planet symbolizing war, and a very high above average of people that are enlisted in the army as they studied in statistics have mars as their ruling planet, and something about jupiter and leadership, they also found that most polticians have jupiter as their planet, also about most scientists and well-known ones like einstein are ruled by saturn, planet of observing and somewhere around that field....
but anyway i might have mixed up some of the facts... but all i know is that they said that people and their career statistically corresponds with their ruling planet, numbers of people being above average in most career fields where their planets (signs) are most suitable... and these studies where done by a famous skeptic of horoscope who wanted to confirm that astrology is crap....

Crap.
I think people are so desperate to search for meaning in their lives that they try to find significance and connections with anything or anyone that will claim to take the confusion and uncertainty out of living.
People just look for similarities in their lives with horoscopes, they match up vauge inclinations, all because they latently want some stability or idea of the future.

it's not total crap, i look at it as information for me to think about, that may OR may not change my day. horoscopes are very literal. it could really apply to anyone. if you think it might apply to you then use it to your advantage. I don't believe you can blame your bad day on your horoscope. You have free will to make your choices. good question tho. i'm sure you will get alot of opinions.

it depends i would say crap because i dont really read them but somedays i look into the newspaper and i see that yesterdays prediction was true.. but its kind of stupid there are billions of people and only a bunch of zodiac sign soo how the hell 1 thing affecting soo many ***** people? lol good question

but ..the message in horoscopes is usually positive and just common sense for anyone...that is why we are hooked reading this crap..lol

Eerie when all of a sudden you read one that perfectly fits your current situation. My brother and I are Capricorns and most descriptions of the sign suit us to a t. The really funny thing is that the goat also appears in our family crest. Who know? Remember, God created astrologists just as surely as he created garbage men. Who knows what is in his plan?
