Well, it would always be a conflict of interest.

As far as being ethical, you should vote for the answer you believe is best regardless of who wrote the answer.

Yes, it is ethical. Presidential candidates vote for themselves. Why not vote on yahoo answers?

It's kind of pathetic. Unless your only after points, there's none of that satisfaction of someone else choosing you as best answer if you cheat.
