African?
I thought you had to be born on US soil (thus an American) to Constitutionally be able to be President, and at least 35 years of age.
My guess is though you're worried about Obama being elected President, and thus the question of race. And I honestly don't care what the color of the skin of the President is, as long as s/he love America, does what s/he believes is right and ethical, does his/her job to the best of his/her ability, makes informed decisions, listens to all points of view, and puts the UNITED back into United State of America. I'm tired of everything be Republican vs Democrat, and which side is more evil. Our country shouldn't be so divided and hold such animosity towards one another especially in a time of war.

A Black can be a President of the USA as long as he is validly voted in the general election.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if a Black will likely win.

I'll assume that you mean should an African American male be president of the U.S.A.
To answer that, I don't care if the person is black, white, red, yellow, or if they've got stripes like a zebra, I don't even care if they have balls or boobs, I'm voting for the person who can get the job done.

No, the U.S. cant have an african as a president. Perhaps an american with black ethnicity though. I wouldnt have a problem with it as long as he wasnt elected because of his race and didnt associate with the Jesse JAckson crew.

Our constitution forbids residents of other countrys from being president. An african (black or white) would not be qualified to run.

I would elect an african american man for president, provided of course he was qualified for the job and had the country's best interest at heart.

I think that there is no particular reason why an African male cannot be President of the United States.
