Well, my mother and I are going to ireland in july to visit some of our family that I've never met before, and if we like it there, she is going to consider moving there. I'm in the U.S right now, I've lived here all my life, and I dont like it . I have a Black, Irish and Indian background, and everytime I talk to a mixed race girl here , some how race gets in the conversation, and since I'm not only black, they assume that I will wanna talk about how much better I am b/c of my race talk about how lucky we are that we are not all black and how light and pretty we are and how our hair is ya know and stuff like that. And I am not like that at all. Anyway, that was weird especially since I'm not light skin.
Anyway, is it like that in Ireland? Hope not! Serious answers plz!

Mira, I am so sorry to tell you this, but you are screwed where ever you go.

Unless you decide in yourself that you background is of no importance.

Uncertainty about other creeds is rife in many countries, of which Ireland is one.

I wish you the best sweetheart, and am sure you are a nice girl, but do not think if you move to Ireland all will be gravy.

Good luck and God bless.

often human beings recommend the Republic of eire purely whilst they consult with 'eire'. in any different case they might in particular say 'Northern eire' in any different case 'the island of eire'. You do get some staunch republican kinds who recommend the completed island whilst they consult with 'eire', yet which may lead directly to confusion among the extra known human beings. situations whilst it incredibly is different is as an occasion if somebody is taking a trip to 'eire' - that would recommend any area of the island of eire. yet whilst somebody asks say 'what's the fee of residing in eire', they might in all probability recommend the Republic of eire as fee of residing is a few thing particular to a central authority/u . s . and the Republic makes up maximum folk of the island so it would make extra sense to be relating ROI if so. it incredibly is a hard one and can be puzzling and a minefield even for individuals from eire!

Hopefully you won't stay - the Irish in you is probably well overcome by your black and Indian DNA - please stay in America.
