You know what's interesting?

In my life here at home, at work, at play, with friends, loved ones and family....... no, I'm not misunderstood. I know some people will find this hard to believe but....... I talk a lot. *glares* Yes I do. And I suppose I'm open enough so that people know where they stand with me and what I'm thinking and why I am thinking it. My kids at school never even misunderstand and I have to say...... they are a good guide to gage this by. (after all.....Adolescents TRY to misunderstand you. lol)

But on line? Gosh...... I feel like people are always making "assumptions" that I meant this or that. It's truly bizarre actually. I can pay a compliment to someone and a guy thinks I'm ready to hop in bed with him. Or I use humor that might have a sarcastic edge and someone is landing into me for being full of malice and contempt. And I stand there with my jaw dropped open thinking......... "excuse me? Do you have the right person?"

I don't know if it is the nature of the written word in cordination with our interpretive minds...... but so many more misunderstandings happen in a venue such as this than with the one on one, face to face...... hearing the vocal tone exposure.

So I have learned to keep it light on here. Not always say what i mean....... but always mean what I say. And if anyone ever misunderstands me...... I'm quick to confront in a positive way. I never believe in just ignoring it and letting it go away. Trust me..... it doesn't usually happen.

Never! I'm clear as a bell which leads other people and pets to whine and nag and register complaints. My sister put a note on my door that said, "Fear the Honesty!" I am not good at softserving denial. At the same time, I am eccentric, and yes with enough $$$ to call myself that, and people are puzzled by my actions sometimes. All they have to do is ask, and yes they would qualify for an honesty enema from yours truly!

Very much so:

A - I swear I speak martian, because most of the world misunderstands most of what I say.

B- I have this blasted "Come Hither" voice, and I can't ask for directions without making someone drool...even on the freaking phone!!!

All the time!

Not only with what people think my intentions are ((people always assume the worst with me,)) but also when I trying to explain something.

It makes me feel stupid, I obviously am not very good at saying what I feel.

Occasionally. It is my fault for asking or answering without reading before I submit to "answers".
