If you are going into a medical specialty the Army may be handling your training, as that training is being consolidated.

Air Force tech schools train to a particular skill level. They most generally use behavioral objectives, meaning they test and grade based on performance.

In the Air Force they don't call it an MOS. It's an AFS, short for Air Force Specialty, and an AFSC, short for Air Force Specialty Code.

Some performance-based training is self-paced, meaning students can progress at a speed comfortable to them.
