How long do you think will i get on pointe?
i just started ballet...I've been practicing my stretching, and I've been "writing the alphabet" with my feet, and practicing on pointing my toes and been doing releves a lot. How long will it take me to get en pointe. i started ballet the past summer..i took summer intensive..I'm 12..many people say that i have a natural talent for ballet and my teacher in ballet said that i have a natural turnout... how long do you think will i get on pionte??
i know this should be on dancing.. but really nobody answers not even one..

Well the reason that no one answers is because no one really knows....it is like the old commerical where this turtle is licking a tootsie roll tootsie pop and ask how many licks it takes to get to the center....you are probably to young for this but the reasoning is the same only you will know when you reach the center and the prize. I congratulate you on your achieve ments and I really hope you reach your pointe soon but remember it is not just the destination we are living for it is the journey too that gets us there.

I think as long as you keep practicing it shouldn't be too long. But don't try to rush yourself, keep working at your own pace and you'll get better and before you know it you'll be where you want to be with your ballet. Good luck.

that's up to your teacher. but within the year. i only know this cause my daughter is in ballet/folklorico. and most schools won't allow girls to get on pointe till they're 12 or older. good luck!
