It was the worst ending EVER!!!
What was David Chase thinking ? Or was he at all .
What was that supposed to be ? Was he getting up to say Hi to Meadow or because somebody shot him?
Just lame really lame.

No. It was a bad ending to a great series. I thought Tony and family would be whacked in the diner by one of the patrons or Phil's henchmen. So lame! And AJ is a wuss-he wouldn't last 2 seconds in the Army-his depressed a** would be kicked!

OMG It BLEW!! I am highly disappointed in it!! You may not believe this but, my grandfather is the ex-president of the Irish American club in Kearny, NJ.....it is right next door to "Satriale's" and he got to meet and become friends with almost all of them (excluding Tony....he said Tony was like a God and almost impossible to get near). So anyways, my grandpa seem to think that they ended it like that because they have every intention of coming back....they are thinking about waiting a few years though. Hopefully that's true!! Sopranos MADE hbo!!!

There isn't a action picture. the certainty that it ended so all of sudden shows that in the time of the main suitable scenes, we've been staring at life with the aid of Tony's eyes & whilst he observed meadow walking in & it incredibly is whilst it went silent & the show screen went black shows that he replaced into killed marvelous then & there. And the certainty that she replaced into having subject parking her motor vehicle meant that it stored her life because of the fact according to hazard the completed kinfolk replaced into killed. bear in mind final weeks episode whilst Tony tells Carmela to not challenge because of the fact kinfolk is on no account touched. yet like in genuine David Chase vogue, he did not provide us what we expected & basically left us putting! not a competent ending even though it does bypass away the door open for a action picture basically in case James Gandolfini comes to a decision to make the action picture & if it on no account takes place meaning he replaced into killed... To me the cat represented that Paulie replaced right into a rat, an informant for the feds. What rat likes a cat? a extra perfect ending could have been in the event that they cut back to black basically like they did & then unexpectedly cut back to a newspaper being thrown in the morning of the sopranos residing house with the headline interpreting "Soprano kinfolk murdered in diner"... Seinfeld ending replaced into relatively fantastic! It ended with George & Jerry having the right comparable communique that they had in the very 1st episode of the instruct. The instruct replaced into not approximately thoughts, thoughts and love & all that crap! It ended the right comparable way the instruct replaced into all alongside! It replaced into approximately not something!!! recover from it, it ended like 10 years in the past!!!!!!

I agree, this was 1000 times worst than the Matrix sequels. Were we supposed to conclude that Tony gets whacked by the screen just going blank? What the hell is that. They should not have bother showing that crap. I was truly disappointed. It is the worst letdown I can remember related to any movie or TV show in my entire life. It really sucked.

Yes, I don't watch gangster shows for artsy fartys endings.
The whole episode was dumb, and didn't really make sense. A bunch of regular stuff happened, most of it unrelated to anything, then it cuts to black.
People will say, "well it gets people talking" - ya, that it sucked, that's not a good thing, and not a way to end a show with dignity. The writer's job is to make his audiance happy, not give himself mental mastrbation.
people will say "It lets you use your imagination" - well, that is gay. TV is so I don't have to use my imagination, I'm not that creative, that is what I'm paying you for...TO ENTERTAIN ME!

I live 2 blocks from "Pizza Land" and if I see tony drive past it in real life, I think I'm going to egg his car
