"They're just making you wonder"
which is really gay considering i don't like to wonder. I want to know. This is gay because a great show was just ruined. I thought my parents accidently hit the power to the DVR.

the ripoff is that they had these 8 episodes finished when the previous 8 were aired...
they made their subscribers wait another 6 (or more) months to see these because they didn't want to end before the summer months (when many people move and cancel their cable & then resubscribe... they would've dropped HBO) AND they were waiting for a commitment from larry david on curb your enthusiasm + other series to be waiting... the wait is the ripoff... the bad ending, well... that just happens. look at seinfeld. 72 million watched that. im sure this barely had 15 million viewers

The Sopranos is not the best HBO series anyways. I can't wait until The Wire comes back on!

If I wasn't looking forward to the new season of Big Love, I would cancel. But I must also place the bulk of the blame on David Chase. I feel like he intentionally made the finale boring. What was the point of calling it a final episode? It was just as uneventful as many of the other episodes. I had a glimmer of hope last week, and thought it would really be an exciting finale. I am so dissappointed.

Yes I agree. The only reason I got HBO was to be able to see the Sopranos, and now this!

I agree it sucked. I also liked the series Rome and that was cancelled. I like Deadwood too and that was cancelled. I think HBO will soon be history at my house.

Didn't see the show, but reading the other answers got me thinking...
I've read answers to other questions that said that Tony told Bobby a while back that when you die, everything goes black.
Did Tony get shot, or something, earlier in the episode, or did it look like he was going to die? Like I say, I didn't watch the show, but if that did happen, then maybe he did get it, and the last scene was a hallucination in Tony's mind just before he died and everything went black.
Like I say... just speculation.
