I have a 2004 Chevrolet Impala base sedan with a 3.4 and "prefferred group" options. My problem is that my chime is not to loud i can barely hear it. So how can louden it? You know the chime that tells you that you have a key stuck in the ignition or warn you that your parking brake is engaged after you shift from park. How can I resolve this issue?

Get a service manual for your car, locate the little speaker that makes that noise, and replace it with a louder speaker. Just make sure you have enough power going to that louder speaker. I don't imagine you'd need to change anything else. Should have enough power already.
