Well since Daisuke Matsuzaka is an American League pitcher, and will bat only in inter league games and world series games in National League parks, I would have to say that Derek Jeter is the better hitter.

Since Daisekay Matsusaki doesn't exist I am guessing Derek Jeter...If you meant Daisuke Matsuzaka vs. Jeter then you are a moron since one is a pitcher...so yeah Jeter is a better hitter but Daisuke is a better pitcher.

well- lets see. i dont think i have seen a stupider question than this one! since Matsuzaka is a pitcher he only bats a couple times a year, while Derek Jeter bats every day. so i am going to go with Derek Jeter on this one and if you ask who is a better pitcher, ill go with Daisuke Matsuzaka.

How is this even a debate? Derek Jeter is a positional player and "Dice-K" (Dice-K is only a nickname, his real name is Daisuke) is a pitcher.
