I hadn't used it in like forever and now I dont know how to get it to work. I thought that as soon as I plugged it in to the USB port it would recognize it and it would work fine but that's not the case. I dont have the software it came with on my computer anymore. What can I do?

first unplug the usb cable, go to the Creative web site, at the top of the site page click on support,then you will see a section for downloads click it. next screen select country,next screen select product. This section has 3 colums, in the first column select web cam, in the second cloumn select web cam also, in the third column scroll down and select web cam nx, click next ,verify language,OS and all. click go, download latest software and follow instructions

Download and install the drivers / software from the webcam manufacturer's web site.
Then, plug the USB cable in, NOT before.
