On tonight's Sopranos, what was the meaning of Meadow arriving late to the restaurant?

Did you notice that everytime a family member opened a door to the restaurant you heard bells ringing as Tony was still alive..when Meadow arrived and rushed to the restaurant (as she prob heard gun shots) ...NO BELLS...Tony was already dead.

Just in case that guy really did come out the bathroom and shot Tony we can be sure that Meadow did not get in the way as she would have sat next to Tony.

I think it was just showing that life was continuing on as normal (i.e. being late is normal day to day stuff)

Her Dad is moments away from dying inside the restaurant (when everything goes black)...it increased our anxiety, and caused her to not be inside when it happened (not sure of significance beyond that, but I am sure someone else will have an angle on it...)

I don't know, but I was very disappointed in the finale. I don't feel so bad about the series being over now.

It was suspense building. But we psychologically did not think in those terms.

who said she was late....somebody had to be the last to arrive.....enuf already wit da drama....they hadn't even ordered their meal yea! Sheesh!
