why are people asked to specify their race when they want to register their kids in a school in the USA? Who cares . The thing is some people can't check mark any of the option given because they just don't fit in any category . Is asking people colour for school is hiding a kind of discrimination?

Because attitudes of some (note I say some, not all or even most. Just a few)people WAY back then has continued, and people are working very hard (and succeeding) to erase all that bad stuff from memory.

For better info, some men from the KKC have sons or grandsons that are still alive today. You can ask them. They usually have their life stories at the library of Congress, for some stupid reason.

Race and colour mattered interior the previous. It mattered simply by fact devoid of the potential to return and forth rapidly over super distances you will possibly discover that there have been a approaches better ameliorations interior the cultures and techniques worldwide extensive. An englishman in Brazil might discover their ideals to be animalistic, whilst a Brazilian in England might think of they have been idiotic and over-conceptualized. yet now an afternoon's the factor is that we've a worldwide community on the cyber web, and could be very almost everywhere in one 2d. incredibly everyone seems to be looking out approximately techniques they might have by no potential seen on their very own- and in turn, we detect that as a worldwide single techniques, we are coming to a single end. So no, race and colour do no longer count number anymore. even though it used to, and there are very almost 7 billion human beings on earth now- so it is not like the belief gets enable pass of unquestionably.

Skin color is one of the ways that politicians control us. It really has no significance, but politicians, and their lackeys in the media keep hammering away at "race" consciousness, how one group is exploiting another, preferential treatment & c. It's called Divide and Conquer, and politicians have been using it for thousands of years.

In Iraq, the politicians (who call themsleves religious leaders) do the same thing between the Sunnis and Shiites. In Northern Ireland it was the Catholics against the Protestants. It all boils down to control. It's a lot of nonsense. People can get along fine until agitators (generally politicians) set them against each other.

I know that probably before I finish with this question I'll have
peeved someone........AMERICA IS A MELTING POT ! !
While I classify myself a Caucasian, I am very diverse when
it come to race. Like it or not people " YOU ARE TOO "
That I know of there's, English,Welsh,Scottish,Irish, German
French and then we got on the boat, "As Indentured Servants"
To those of you who don't know, "That's a slave with a very
tenuous release date." Yes that is what I said,"slave".....Many
would never again see real "freedom" Some ran.....Some
stayed.....Guess it would depend "WHO" was holding those
papers to your freedom.....At which point many of my ancestors chose to marry into the local indigenous population
as many black slaves did during this early part of our countries
founding......."WOULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT BOX TO CHECK"

I have always wondered why it was asked and why it mattered. I never answer it because I dont think it does matter what our race is... we are all people. and you are right... they cant possibly have enough spaces for all the different "races" people can be.. we all have a little extra in us! i know i do and so do my kids.
