This is the last year of his contract with the Chicago Bears. Will he guide them to the playoffs again? and if not will Chicago resign him?

I honestly don't believe the Bears will go back to the playoffs with Grossman as the starter.

I think they will win the division again this year but I think they will lose their first playoff game. Their defense is just way to good not to go to the playoffs. And that division is still the weakest in football. As for Rex, I think he will struggle big time. The guy just doesn't have the smarts. He has the arm but he makes way to many bad throws. I don't think that he will be a Bear after this season and I can't see who would want to sign him. Especially since he will probably demand big money since he is now a Super Bowl QB.

I am a DIE-HARD Bears fan, and have been all my life. He is still the best thing we have had taking snaps since Sid Luckman. In his first full season he took the team to a Super Bowl. Yes the deffense was an important role in that. But he did have some good games. He is going to working from the Shot Gun this year more often, which will give him more time. The Chicago Bears offensive line is the reason of Grossmans failures up to this point. He will be ready since this will be only his 2nd full season healthy (knocking on wood). Having the top TE draft pick and backing that up with a new twin TE set will help him dump off the ball instead of making his famous eye closing prayers to the mid section of the defensive backs. Stick with the kid, and i also think the Bears will too. He will get better, and i still stay he has the Montana, Farve potential. Not to mention we have a new QB coach.. All things are an improvement for Rex. GO BEARS.

Rex will lead the Bears to another NFC North title. Keep in mind this was his first year ever starting a whole season (yr1- sat on bench, yr2- torn ACL, yr3- back surgery). So essentially this was his first year of real experience and what happened but he led them to the Super Bowl. Granted the defense wont them the Arizona MNF game, and a few others, Grossman preformed well. With the addition of Greg Olsen and the late season improvment of Berrian and Benson, the offense looks to be good. Grossman catches all the fall for having no supporting cast around him. This year, Olsen will be the X-Factor and lead the bears back into the playoffs and a contract extension for Rex.

Grossman will be benched. He didn't get the Bears to the Super Bowl- it was the combination of an extremely weak schedule and a better than average defense (for most the season). 5 bad games for a QB in a season is not a sign of a good QB. Grossman has a weak arm; his receivers always have to slow down or comeback for his passes, and when a team blitzes him, he panics and makes poor throws.

Yes, and he will win them the Superbowl, or at least get them to the NFC championship game. Why do a lot of people say Rex is terrible and critize him. Sure he had 5 bad games,It was his first starting season, plus before the Arizona game, there was talks of him being MVP. How can that be bad. Plus this was Chicago's first Superbowl in 21 years. Yea the Defense is good, but Chicago's defense has always been like that. He got us there, he did what I don't know the number of Chicago Qb's that haven't taken this team to the SB. So stop critizing him and give him this season to perform. And this is coming froma Bears fan.

Bench him! He has no longer accomplished nicely at present with possibilities in in basic terms approximately each and every interest with the aid of fact the Arizona comeback. If it wasn't for the final minute %. against the Pats, i think of Da Bears could have gained that interest on a final 2nd comeback. i'm a Bears fan, yet heavily positioned Griese accessible!

Well Rex's seem like had 2 personalties when playing, the good Rex and the bad. and I kinda expect the good Rex to come out, cause believe or not, his performance was nowhere near the worst in NFL history (Rich Gannon).

he'll have so-so performance this upcoming season...their strength is defense and special team unit, not offense...he might have some good games put together because I believe this will be his contract year.

Grossman just doesn't have it.
His problems aren't experience, he
just is erratic and dumb.
