There were good parts, well a good part, when Phil got shot and then popped. Other than that, life goes on and then you make a movie.....

I thought my cable went out, too! Ever since Christopher died, they have been building up all this tension. We sat on the edge of our seats tonight and kept waiting...and waiting...and waiting...for SOMETHING to happen. Thought the whole fam was going to get whacked by the guy walking into the men's room or the 2 black guys that walked in, then thought Meadow was going to get it outside or be the only one left standing after the place blew up or something.
SO annoying that it was so open-ended, but kind of genius as well. Look at all of us, still thinking about it. You can't get onto the show site/message boards or the HBO site. If/when they make a movie, you know all of you will be all over it! I know we will, even though we thought the last few seasons were kind of lame compared to the first few. They left us wanting more.
Why'd they have to kill Bobby? I loved Bobby.

This series was so well-written that it deserved a place in history with a well-written, well-planned ending. This was a disappointment and a disgrace to the series and the actors.
The ironic thing is that the entire episode appeared to focus on "closure" and yet the dedicated viewers received NO closure whatsoever. What a disappointment!

AWFUL....It was a pretentious, arrogant approach by David Chase. NO ONE watched a gritty, quasi realistic Mob show for 7 years to be left creating their own endings. If that were the case, why not stare at our blank-screened TV next week at 9, surmise aplot, and then discuss it. Ridiculous isn't it? well Chase , in his mind has an idea of how the story ends, and he really comes across like a buffoon ending it this way.

I thought that there was potential for alot of interpretations that could happen. It all went black. I think that the ending was perfect because if Tony was killed, it would have been difficult. It is bad to say, but Tony is one of us. A good person, who happens to be a Mob boss. Phil Letardo was scum and it was like we were rooting for him to go.

I am confused; there's no more Soprano's? We had like 4 episodes and they sucked. I waited to downgrade my cable for that weak season. Pitiful!!!

I found this on another question and it's perfect:
" The first episode of sopranos Bobby asked what it was like to die and didn't Tony say, "It all goes black"
I can't remember for sure, but maybe that is the answer to everyone's question. "

Only good thing was Phil getting whacked and then the car rolling over his head.

I'm not sure, I'm still staring at the black screen waiting on the real ending and I'll let you know when I see it.
What was that?!
