The television I was watching shut off at that point where they were in the diner and the dude from the lunch counter went into the restroom. It shut off just as Meadow was crossing the street to go in. I am so mad!

Didn't see the show, but reading the other answers got me thinking...
Mark S and ashleyd said that Tony told Bobby a while back that when you die, everything goes black.
Did Tony get shot, or something, earlier in the episode, or did it look like he was going to die? Like I say, I didn't watch the show, but if that did happen, then maybe he did get it, and the last scene was a hallucination in Tony's mind just before he died and everything went black.
Like I say... just speculation.

It's not like the screen went blank and then the credits started to roll. It was blank for a good minute or two. Something happened in that time. For now, I think we are expected to talk about it excessively in every venue possible. I do believe at some point in time we will get to see what elapsed during that minute or two. Either he gets arrested or someone at that table gets shot, but who it is, who knows.

The show set usall up. They never provided an ending. I hate HBO for messing with us. This was a horrible ending to a show.

that was the ending......nothing..blackness.... i think everying wathcing it prolly screamed at that moment in disblief.
