In terms of supermarket food, always generic. Most supermarket own-brand foods are made by the big companies anyway, they just have a different label.
And when you're feeding two constantly-hungry teenagers and a similar husband, they don't notice whether it's Heinz or Asda brand, they just eat. So cheaper is best for me.

The only brand name I really buy is FOX Racing.. it's mainly a dirt bike/four wheeler brand. Off road sports.
When I raced a while back I was the only girl and was beating the boys, well long story short they ended up sponsoring me.
I've since had to stop racing because I got injured but fox was very good to me, and they have cute clothes so I buy fox.
Plus I like to represent them, even though they no longer sponsor me.
Other than that though, if I like it I buy it.

Both, but I do tend to buy more 'shops own' products. I find sometimes they are better than the branded items. Such as baby wipes, I use either Tesco's with lavender and chamomile or Boots own and I prefer them to the leading brands.

ohg, 1st of all, that tie-dye rocks!!! I go generic; I mean, all you're paying extra for is the brand name. If I could see/taste a/the difference, then I might go brand. But, for me, it's generic.

I think it's sad to just buy something because it's a specific brand in clothing, as you should be individual, but in other things such as food, I guess I do.

By quality and value. Brands are secondary. Except for Dr. Pepper. No imitations there!
