He says "i bet when it happens you dont even hear it" or something along those lines......so yes thats probably the answer......i dont see the problem with the ending....good observation

Just watched the first episode again and NO he does not saying anything about "going black" he does say that " you probably don't even hear it" Id have to see those last few mins of the finale again to see what happens

I think it's pretty genius that they give the audience the impression that they got "whacked" instead of Tony. Plus, it give us hope for a movie!
