try some real warm soapy water this may soften it up, that stuff is horrible on a paint job though ,if that doesn't work try some kerosene on it, it will remove tar and bugs real good from paint without harming it,tree sap will eat right in to the clear coat on the newer cars, good luck on it i hope this helps.

Why not just put up one of those instant garages with the aluminum frame and fabric covering to keep the sap away from your car? There are many different kinds available. See link below for an example:

Pine sap is a resin, so you can use a solvent like turpentine, mineral spirits, kerosene. But it must be washed right after and a new coat of wax.

there is some stuff called goo-gone or goof-off, it's the same product with different names. i use it all the time on my black rodeo because our driveway is full of pine trees.

you can buy it at almost any hardware store.
when you apply it don't rub it too much, just apply it to a rag and let it soak on the car for a couple seconds and wipe off, it works great!

i'd test a small unnoticable spot on the car first to make sure it doesn't wreck your paint.

Just about any auto parts store has a product for just your needs it should be with the wax's and car wash stuff. Paint thinner or rubbing alcohol or in a pinch lighter fluid will work.

Dodge man is right... Kerosene will take it off and shouldn't harm the paint. White gas (Coleman lantern fuel) will also do the trick. He's right about the damage to paint... Tree sap and bugs, bird crap all do nasty things to your paint. Get it off ASAP.
