I know that the constitution prohibits non-native born Americans from serving as President, but what about vice-president?

Although the U.S. Constitution prohibits Arnold Schwarzenegger from serving as president, this discriminatory prohibition is a classic reminder that this section of the Constitution is outdated, and should be repealed. If one is a legal U.S. citizen, it follows that one should be entitled to all of the rights of a U.S. citizen. In cases such as Arnold's predicament, he is a second class citizen at best, not fully entitled to all the rights granted to native born Americans. Our U.S. Constitution becomes unconstitutional in its treatment of this very important issue. Whereas the vice president may become president, Arnold is prohibited from serving in that capacity also. In my opinion, Arnold would be a great president, and if he had equal rights with other citizens and could run for president, I would vote for him!

No... he can't. If something happened the the Prez, Arnold would be next in line.. and the Constitution prohibits that. Of course that doesn't stop him and his party from trying to change the constitution, just for his benefit.

The requirements for running for VP are the same as those for President. The same law that keeps Arnold from becoming VP also prevents Bill Clinton from being Hillary's VP.

No. Any vice president has to meet the requirements for president.

It would be ludicrous to elect a person to the vice-presidency if he was ineligible to be president. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a vice-president.
