The red pill.

I'd choose not to have been born. I suffer quite badly from depression. I have considered suicide, but it just seems wrong. Certainly wasteful, just plain destructive (obviously), hurtful to others, and perhaps just a little cowardly.

On balance, the sorrow and worry in my life far outweighs any pleasure. This has less to do with the circumstances of my life and more to do with my responses, and who I am as a person. My parents deserved a child but I'd rather it hadn't been me. I have often thought of the millions of potential babies who could have been born from that particular union and thought "Why me"? I wish one of the others could have had my chance instead - they may well have had a very happy life, and I would have gladly exchanged the pain and distress for oblivion.

So, definately, not born.

Given the life I have? I would choose to be born. If the choice was to be born to parents who didn't want me or couldn't afford to give me a decent life, then I would choose not.

Life seems tough because we tend to dwell on the hard stuff. I would definately be born because there is so much good in the world and I work hard to keep that in mind.

I would choose not to be born because life carries with it a burden of sorrow. I would choose to eschew life, sorrow hurts too much and it has no remedy.

To be born, of course! Life is a struggle, but my people were made to fight. While we live, there is hope.

Not to be born. My reasons are personal. And yes, I am in therapy... which isn't working, btw.

But the question remains, where would you remain.

If you are with the Heaven, continue there.

But if you in hell, you know what is the right answer.
