Even though I thought the entire episode was a bore.......I think I get the ending.
Life goes on as usual for the sopranos. The ending to the series is simply that the cameras will stop rolling. The dramatic cut-off signifies that it is simply cut off on film, but that the life of Tony will go on and on like it has for the past 6 years.

Thanks for asking what I'm asking. I just responded to another person asking a question, but I don't get it. I don't get it. I don't get it. Maybe we aren't suppose to. Who told the hitmen that the Soprano family was eating at that restaurant? Did sonny boy sing? What significance was it that Meadow's entrance to the restaurant gets delayed? Did they all get whacked or none get whacked? Or, does Tony and his family or some of his family escape? Does Tony go on to be indicted for his crimes? Is Pauley spared? Does Silvio come out of the coma? Are we asking all of these questions because they will be answered by an upcoming movie?

It was sh*tty. HBO is going to get alot of hate mail for this. Dont worry.....i think the writers have a plan.......no 7 yr show ends like that. Hell, not even the L word would end as crappy as Sopranos did. Believe it or not.....if Phil got whacked....theres a chance something wouldve happened to Tony....they didnt have alot of options...

I am so upset. I guess since it was a whole bunch of people that they were showing looking at the family i guess the whole family was going to get killed but they just ended it out of nowhere it was ridiculous and lame they should have showed them getting killed or had an action scene or something It was so lame. I thought there was something wrong with my TV or my remote but i guess it was just lame writers. Unbelievable.

No you don't have to be singleminded to think the ending was great.
I've been watching since episode 1, and I like the fact that he had me in my seat thinking "okay only 45 minutes left" "okay only 30 minutes left"
Phil dies, We find out tony is 90% chance of getting indited, we figure out who the rat is, we figure out that paulie was good all along, you're never going to know if sil wakes up from the coma, so if tony gets arrested who will take over - paulie? or sil that comes out of a coma. We all thought tony was about to die in the restaraunt but we don't really know, I DONT THINK HES DEAD! I think that the ending was good!
THE GANGS CALLED A TRUCE AND BASICALLY THEY GAVE TONY THE OK TO FIND PHIL AND KILL HIM! He said my price is phil's location. they said we can't give this info to you, but the rest is up to you.
That was a great ending!!!!!!

It was an open ending and was lame. I thought the cable went out at the end. A copout.
