I am a cancer and my impression of capricorns are:
They are the deepest, most introspective of the earth signs. They understand patience in its most fundamental sense and are compelled to work hard. They might not like it but they will anyway. They sorta know that life is just freakin tough. They make me shiver when they go way deep in and quiet. I can sense how the water runs deep -- even sometimes deeper for a water sign like me to fathom. They don't trust much because they sorta know that not most will understand what goes on inside of them so why bother. When they let lose a bit they are the funniest. But really, they swing from being shackled by being compelled to work hard for almost anything to a comedic genius with perfect timing and the driest humor and man can every think to utter.

That said, I have to tell you that my brother and I are both Capricorns.

Contrary to published reports, neither one of us are patient. We suffer fools badly and get very agitated if one is in our midst. We are practical and hardworking. I can't remember if he is a nearnik (we've been apart awhile) but I am a crap-a-holic. We are bright, quick and can make a sarcastic joke before anyone else has a clue. We are both social. While we each love materialistic things (me more than him), we are both amazingly philosophical and have been all our lives. We are confident, strong willed and calm.

The most amazing thing is that the goat also appears in our family crest, and we have always gotten a kick out of that fact.
