THIS is how Sopranos ends? Did anyone elses screen go blank? Anyone else feel TOTALLY ripped off after waiting this clusterf### out for a decade?

The ending was perfect. No one knew what hit them. Not Tony. Not us.
The idea from the start of this show is that it is a work of art. Some people watched the show for the exploration of the human condition and others watched it so they could merely see lots of people get whacked.
For those of us who wanted to understand life and death in an insightful way were rewarded greatly by the show and by it's ending. For those of you who just watched it to see people get whacked, well, you got exactly what you deserved...
You got whacked yourself.

...i'm in CHicago and Rex/offense surely sucked. 20-0 at halftime. The protection & particular communities replaced into disgusted and got here out to attain all yet one field objective. What a protection! they are the heros. The offense could do double prepare next week and the protection gets a million/2 prepare...

Yes. The screen went black and then the credits rolled. I thought they would all get whacked at the diner! Garbage! HBO needs to give everyone their money back!

I doubt it has ended. It seems like the show ended by going blank. I am very disappointed.

Tony is dead. The cut to black was a way to signify him being shot in the head. That's my take on it. It took a second to realize it, but it was pure genius.
