Definitely wait till at least six months if not older. Always supervise the baby with it very closely as the baby can choke on them.

It is a realy good idea not to introduce sweets for a few more months. Between 4 and 6 months you can start to give your baby veggies and fruit, but only in mush form. Cookies and other hard food (not to mention sugary foods) should wait until after your baby has enough teeth to chew them and is probably at least 1 year old. My 13 month old gets baby cookies, but not frequently. The sooner you start introducing unhealthy foods, the sooner baby starts to pick up poor eating habits.
If you are talking about biter biscuits, I waited until my baby was about 9 or 10 months old when he could chew off the chunks he would get in his mouth. But always watch carefully because those bicuits can cause choking.

I would start her on cherreios first. Most baby cookies are really REALLY messy. The first time i gave my son bitter biscuts he got more cookie in his hair then he did his mouth. I would say around 5 months old is ok to give them teething biscuts and other foods that can disolve easily in the mouth like the gerber veggie puffs and the fruit puffs. Make sure to ask her pediatrition if it's ok to give her cookies, or at least let them know you are giving her cookies. that way if an allergy starts, you know a possible cause.

NO.
She is too young. You MUST wait until she is at least 6 months old to give her any solid food. The newest information from the American Academy of Pediatrics is that babies should have only milk for the first six months.
Introducing solid foods, from cereals, veggies, to cookies can hurt their digestive tracts and cause long term problems--from allergies to obesity.
Just because your neighbor or friend's kid was fine doesn't mean your child will be. Please wait until she is at least 6 months old before giving her solid foods.

I used one of those mesh things with the handle to give my daughter those cookies. That way she couldn't choke on it. If you get one of those, then I think 4 1/2 mos. is okay.

No. If you are thinking of this because of teething try Baby Ora gel. If you are looking for her to have something to do, please just give her a damp face cloth to chew on. Her system is far too young to handle that type of food right now. Wait until her next check up and ask her Doctor when she will be ready for that. I am shocked that they have her on any solid food besides stage 1 fruit right now.
Good luck!

I gave mine the teething cookies and biscuits at around 5-6 months. As long as they can gnaw and swallow good - I would go for it!
