G'day,
Sure they can.. like having 3 sets of independant speakers to your stereo in the same room can make the music sound strange.
If they are all for different networks, then you can change the channel they are all using. I am also assuming that they are all using the same protocol (a, b, g or n). Check in your setup software/webpage, you should be able to change the channel there. Also take into consideration the number of wireless stations around you.. if you have 10 around you and they are all using the same channel as you it will make your current situation worse, and by changing the channel it will make a big difference.
If they are all servicing the same network and are setup as a bridge to each other, then you have to keep the channels the same. Maybe there are just other wireless stations around you on the same channel.
If there are no other wireless stations around you or changing the channels doesn't help... then try moving your devices to slighltly different locations.. they might be getting a reflection off some steel or something.
These kind of issues can be really frustrating.. :)
Best of luck with it.
Grahame

I have a question? Why do you need three wireless routers?
You could change the default channel they run on by logging into the router and going to the Advanced tab. Change them all to different channels.

Yes they can, especially if they are on the same channel. In australia there are 13 channels, so that routers close together don't interfere much and can be detected seperately. Because all routers work on the 2.4GHz band, this may bring in more interferences between them, and may intefere with cordless phones and other devices.

Why 3 routers? Do you have 3 separate internet connections? ~
You are asking for trouble, using the equipment in a way it was never designed to be used.

I have wireless, linksys, and linksys-g. Everything works fine here...but I can't be on two at the same time...it doesn't seem to work well if I am.

if they are on the same freq. it can bounce a signal... if you keep the channels farther apart you might lower the chances of that.
