Chess is too cerebral for the current crop of Western leaders. Monopoly seems to be more their style - acquire assets by means of the throw of a loaded dice, charge exorbitant rents/taxes and privatise utilities - to say nothing of selling get out of jail free cards.

Maybe we should all learn to play Go - it seems to be the wave of the future.
