My dwarf gourami won't swim, he's laying at the bottom of the tank gasping for air, and his eyes look a little sunken in. What do I do?

It sounds like your fish has a protozoan infestation. A good treatment for this is Furanace, Furan -2 or if it's external Metronidazole. I would strongly suspect that the problem is internal in nature and would suggest one of the first two medications along with medicated fish food for parasites.

looks like its too late for that poor guy. The best medicine is prevention. Make sure the water is right and they have good food. Once a fish is down and doesnt swim anymore its hard to get him back up. You can try a waterchange and raise the temperature. Or put him in a different container to add medicine.
