No, I give an answer that, I hope, will help the asker. I star when I think it's a good question. Sometimes I do star if they give me best answer though. My way of saying thank you.

I have NEVER and NEVER will just give a star in hopes for best answer I always do it if I like there question.

I rarely give stars. Only if the question really intrigues me and I want to show appreciation for it. Just my way of saying "Good on you". That's it.

I star so that question is then passed directly to my fans so that they can answer if they wish. Also to bring a question from ealier that day back out where people can see and read it.
