I think a piercing, especially that one you really need to sit down and think about for a while. Literally write down the pros versus cons. I know quite a few people with them, but being the piercing and tattoo person I am (I don't have many at all but I love them) that is one I wouldn't ever do. One guy I knew that had it done ate ice cubes non stop for like 2 days to keep the swelling down. Sounds like a little bit of a pain in the *** considering you can't really eat them while you're sleeping so how are you going swallow breakfast and I asked him about taking some ibuprofen but he said the swelling wouldn't allow good swallowing. I personally wouldn't do it, but it's not the worst thing you could pierce.

Regardless of your sex they're old, played out now. They're not what I would call current. Don't advertise that you are pierced by having it in your mouth. I think the tongue piercing is for those that want the whole world to "look at what I did." If you really want piercings, do your nipples or below the belt.

Honestly I don't like them, they wreck/chip your teeth and people get food stuck in the whole.......it's gross. Plus in my high school people got tongue piercings to be "cool" but they just look trashy.
It's like when I'm talking to someone who has a piercing all I do is stare at their tongue.....lol

Ummm... They look quite cool.
But peircings in general gross me out a bit
Especially tongues..
Apperently when you you have it peirced you can feel the needle going through your muscle
Euughhh

They do look cool though on boys and girls, its just the concept i guess

I think they are pretty cool!
But dont they really damage your teeth after time?
Well i like them, but i like the aspect of a piece of metal through someones tongue

I just answered your nipple question.And I have to say that tongue piercings are cool,but they are very painful.
Getting a nipple piercing is more original.

I personally don't like them but it is a this generation style. I can live with it. We all had our own things adults thought were stupid or disgusting. Its really not to bad.

I don't much care for it. I wouldn't have it done but I know a lot of people who have and really like it. I have my belly button done as well as my ears both at the lobes and in the cartilage and that's pretty much as far as I will go. What about you? Thanks for asking!!!!!

I'm okay with them, I just think they would be painful and the very least annoying to have in your mouth. I would never get one myself but to each his own.
