In a way, I feel badly for them. Can you imagine what a shock it's going to be when they get in the real workplace and discover no one actually cares about their opinions? When they're expected to show up on time, do a job, be careful what they say, and put in a specific number of hours? It's almost like their parents opted out of teaching them the basics of civilization.

On the flip side, I do know some teens who have obviously been raised very well. So, there is some hope.

(*laughter*) I re-read this and realized adults must have seen me in the same light as a teen. (*chuckle*) Oh my, I am an old fogey.
