Can I jump Start my ATV using my Truck?? If so, How can i do it?

I've seen it done before but i dont kno how. can someone tell me wat to do

if your ATV has a 12 volt battery in it you can jump start it by connecting the negative terminal from the car to the ATV then the positive terminal, don't start the car there is more then enough power in a car battery to start an ATV.

be careful though you can blow up your battery if you arc the positive to ground

yes you can ONLY IF the ATV is 12volts. (look on the battery of the ATV)

battery Pos to Pos
but
neg to the Chassis of the ATV to the neg of the slave battery - Or better said, neg battery to the ATV chassis ground.

I have reservations about telling you to do it.
If not done properly on something with that small of a battery, an explosion could occur.

Take the battery out and charge it.
