Definately. We spent the morning there & then drove up Pike's Peak. I think you can do a half a day or a whole day depends on how much walking, hiking or biking you want to do. They do have places where you can park the car & hike, but you can also drive through the park. We drove around first, went to the visitor's center (to get a map & take some beautiful photos) and then we went back in the area found a place to park and walked around for awhile, taking lots more beautiful photos. I loved it!!!

Yes, yes and yes!
About an hour south of Denver, in Colorado Springs.
You can hike, bike, or drive thru it.
Spend at least a few hours there.
And don't forget Pike's Peak! The cog railroad may be fun, I've never gotten to do it because you have to make reservations a few days in advance. But, I have always enjoyed the ride up there. Crowded in the summer...go early, but certainly worth the trip!
This is from a Texan! Trust me, it's worth it.

Definitely worth visiting. It is an amazing place with incredible rock formations. Great place to hike, drive or just sit and contemplate. Well marked trails. Early morning and late afternoon make some interesting shadows and colors on the towering rocks. Bring your camera and spend at least a half day.

The garden is truly awe inspiring. Take as long as you can to drive through, walk through, etc. They even have horseback trail rides available, and there's a nice visitors center at the entrance, and one inside the park too. Look for the "kissing camels" rock formation!!
