My aunt was told that if you are over forty you should have their nails filed round rather than square. I think that this is absolutley ridiculous. Am I wrong?

Well some do like to have nails filed round but in my opinion square is very chic and classy. Try square with french mediand pedi. Its so classy and it goes wtih anything. A lot of nails saloon provide the service. Try them and I'm sure you would love them.

You're Right! My mom [she's like 55] has her nails with square tips and i just <3 it! i think round nails are old lady like. :-))

i think your aunt is wrong. the shape of your nail is dictated by the actual shape of your nail bed. I have very rectangular nail beds, and if I were to round my nails, that would look retarded. nail shape is like eyebrow shape. totally depends on the individual person. not all shapes look good on everybody.
