It's a romantic thought. I've often wondered if that whole "soul mate" thing was possible. It's the words "one" and "true" that cause me to pause and hesitate.
My friends have always said that the man I have concocted in my head just doesn't exist. That I've taken every characteristic that is important to me and meshed them together into an expectation that would be hard to fulfill. My best friend said I need three men. One that will be my friend and make me laugh like crazy..... one with the romance and passion I desire..... and one that is so intellectual that he'll keep my mind stimulated constantly. I disagree. I still feel that there is someone out there that could manage to possess all three things. I have met such men........ that's when the "true" part seems to become the obstacle. A man like this must share his wealth of personality, passion and pizzazz with others and is not always ready to be 'true' to one person. Not a bad thing..... just an obstacle to the finding "one true love" concept.
So do I believe that somewhere out there is my 'one true love?' I'm not discounting it. I'm not searching for it. But I know that if it presents itself to me....... I'll finally feel complete.

Yes, I do believe that somewhere out there is my one true love. I also believe that he found me in one of the Yahoo! Groups we both are members of. We've been relating since 2005. :-)
