Doesn't it seem that lately politics seem to be in a stand-still. I'm not referring to GB, but I mean, it seems like nothing ever happens anymore.
Is it just that the Democratic Party and Republican Party are actually the same party at heart with a few minor differences. Because it doesn't matter what one canidate will say on a debate, are they really going to actually do what they say? No, because they never do.
So now that both the prime parties are in a sense worthless and doing nothing at a viewpoint. What do you do? And Who do you vote for?

Join the independent party. They dont win, and if you do, you cant vote in any meaningful primaries. But those are about the only parties that offer up anything different these days.

Unfortunatly I agree, All the canidates stick with popular views. The parties views change according to public opinion. We need a canidate that will stand out and take a differant view.

What I do is vote for Ron Paul. He's the only candidate running who has a chance to turn things around. That's why he's getting all the bad press now...he's challenging the status quo. We gotta stand firm and support him, or the two parties will have their way from now on.
