How do you remove a tick?

I want to know if you need to remove a tick counter - clockwise or if you just pull it straight out.

The best way I have heard is to use a hot needle and dont pull it out because its head will stay in and cause a blister or sore. Use a hot needle.

Use tweezers and grasp it as far down as possible. You will want to get the whole head of it out of the skin. Ticks are such determined things. Good luck with this.

Heard counter clockwise, but s difficult. Just pretty much make sure that head is out, when its yanked though.

Cotton ball.
Rubbing alcohol.

Place the saturated cotton ball over the tick.
Wait a couple minutes for it to let go of your skin to come up for air. (it won't be able to breath)
Then pull it straight out.

Oh, by the way, it's going to feel funny as he is trying to get his head out. Just tolerate it.
