How long do we have to carry their water? Doesn't this dependence just promote resentment, on both sides?

No, they are our allies and we are offering them the same protection we want to give ourselves. It has nothing to do with their economic status.

I think this is just business as usual. In other words, someone in the military industrial corporate complex is making lots of money off this deal. I bet you anything it has something to do with the Carlysle Group. Yes, I'm sick of the Carlysle Group and the military industrial corporate complex welfare state. It's time we stop propping them up that is to the cost to the American tax payer. Bush Sr. is making far too much money with his son in office. Time to end the Bush family welfare.

The problem is that the whole thing is global and interconnected. It's not the nineteenth century anymore, when they didn't use long-range missiles and airplanes.
