Do I need to clean or treat my factory dashboard with anything before I put a dash cover on?

Yes, You should definitely clean it, Use leather moisteners and fantastic, so that the original dash board underneath does not absorb the dust and other dirtiness of the air around it. Other than that you don't need to put anything on it. Goodluck

Use a clean towel and warm water to clean the top of the dash and your ready to go.
