Alright, I need to reinstall windows. Home Edition to be exact, and used the CD Key, or Product Key on the CD Folder for the setup disk. It didn't work, so I looked around for that sticker that says your product code. I used that, and it still didn't work. I even tried it backwards. Help. Please. Make my day. PLEASE.

Here's what you do:

Take PC.
Throw in trash.
Buy Mac.

Now your computer works.

Windows Home Edition can only be installed, I believe it is three different times. Then you have to get Microsoft to help you reactivate again.

Windows XP Pro has a reinstall limit of about 50 times on the same computer.

There should have been a screen came up with a toll free number to call.

If you have the product key and its genuine, simply call Microsoft and they will be able to solve this as its an installation/activation issue.

This is probably a dumb question, but did you have the capital lock on, i.e. I think product keys are all in caps, if you were in lower case it wouldn't work.
