for example ...I am from Virgina and our slogan is "VA is for lovers" it is beautiful here and surrounded by water!
We get a lot of tourists..

I'm from Michigan, a.k.a. The Wolverine State.

In Michigan, I live in Detroit, a.k.a. "The Motor City". Home to Thomas "Hit Man" Hearns, Eminem, Kid Rock, Ted Nugent, etc., etc.

Ohio "The heart of it all" Known for baseball teams and rivers that catch on fire. Kent State and the tragedy at the Who concert. Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and 4 Presidents born here.

I'm from Pennsylvania originally, but that was a long time ago. It's either the Keystone State, or the Big Rectangle with A Wiggly End, I'm not sure anymore.

I'm from Idaho and traditionally were known for potatoes. But we have beautiful mountains and lakes and desert lands and a huge lava field called "craters of the moon" where astronauts did some of their training.
